Gervase Bushe (pronounced Jervis Bush) is the president of Clear Learning Ltd. and the developer of the models and teaching methods in all of Clear Learning’s courses. With over 30 years of experience as an organizational consultant, he has helped companies change their cultures, redesign their structures and processes, transform employee relations and improve leadership effectiveness. He works with executives to increase teamwork and architect transformational change processes. Past clients include SAP-Business Objects, Kodak-Creo, Shell Oil, Canadian government, General Motors, American Airlines, Fraser and Vancouver Island Health Authorities, Telus, Novellus, Palomar Health, TransAlta, Credit Suisse, Sinova AB, and the Vancouver School Board. He was chosen one of the top 10 appreciative inquiry consultants in the world by the AI Commons in 2002 and is a leading theorist and practitioner of high-engagment, emergent change methods.  His recent ground breaking book, Dialogic Organization Development, (co-authored with Robert Marshak) is being used in graduate leadership and change programs around the world. In 2016 Gervase was added to HR Magazine's (UK) list of the 30 most influential HR thinkers in the world.

Gervase has an extensive background in the design and delivery of highly experiential management training programs that significantly improve manager's ability to lead people and facilitate change. He is certified in laboratory education methods and has consulted to organizations on the design of complete, in-house leadership development processes. He has trained managers and consultants on four continents and has partnerships with consulting firms in the US, Europe, Australia and Asia.

With a doctorate in organizational behavior from Case Western Reserve University, he is the Professor of Leadership and Organization Development at the Beedie School of Business, Simon Fraser University, in Vancouver, Canada (one of the top 100 management research universities in the world) and an award winning researcher and author in the areas of leadership, teamwork and organizational change.
